Real Customers. real Results.

I had been dealing with plantar injury for about a year when, at wit's end, I made the biggest of many recovery-related purchases: E3 Rehab's Plantar Fasciitis program. At around $60 or $65, it was worth every penny.

E3's appeal, to me, was their research-based approach, their assiduous refusal to make outlandish promises and their focus on empowerment.

When I started the program I was unable to jog more than a couple of minutes without heel pain. Halfway through the three-month long program I was completing 30-minute jog/runs pain free and, importantly, without the pain returning a few hours after my run. By the end of the program, I was running five or six days a week for up to an hour without the telltale tightness returning to my heel.

God knows how many hours I spent stretching my calf, sleeping in a boot, buying new orthotics and rolling the sole of my foot on anything I could find. None of these activities provided anything more than (very) temporary relief and did not seem to be addressing the problem. E3 Rehab taught me that trying to "move the tissue around" was a waste of time.

While the workouts were hard - tendon recovery, I've learned, generally requires heavier loading over a long period of time - I embraced the work knowing that I was acting on the best-available knowledge.

I also learned a lot about the importance of my "posterior chain" and think it more likely than not that, as a runner, I will do the entire program over again as I think it makes me a better athlete - and one less prone to injury.

Thank you, E3 Rehab - your work really does make a difference.

Plantar Fasciitis Program
I did the comprehensive 4 month Tennis Elbow program with fantastic results! The program contains a 60 page PDF and video walkthrough which describes the programs (basic or comprehensive), myths, treatments, load management, exercise progressions, case examples, definitions of Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE) and Reps in Reserve (RIR), a step tracker and multiple cited references. The comprehensive Tennis Elbow program is in an Excel document with exercise selection, exercise video links, warm ups, rep scheme, rest time, and a place for adding notes.

The PDF really made me think about some of the myths and treatments I was using to try to fix the issue. Daily I would rub in special creams, try lasers, braces, cortisone shots, NSAIDS, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and even magnet therapy. Some worked in the short-term but never provided long-term relief.

I had a lot of fear around using my fingers and forearms - it took a huge amount of courage for me to start the program. Some of the exercises in the program were the exact mechanisms that would cause my tendons and forearms to flare up but I started light and stayed within my RIR and RPE.

I followed the program exactly as written; if there was a 2 minute rest, I rested 2 minutes before moving to the next set. At the end of each phase I checked in with the flowchart to make sure I was in the correct phase and could progress on to the next level. When I had questions or concerns I reached out to the E3 Rehab Private Community. They were always quick to respond.

This program gave me confidence and greatly enhanced my daily activities. Working through the program has allowed me to do things others take for granted like writing, light typing, exercising, picking up my tea kettle, moving furniture, lifting grocery bags and moving firewood without fear. I am extremely happy with the program and the results!

Tennis Elbow Program
Before starting your program, it had been almost 2 years with chronic hip pain, I did Acupuncture, steroid injection and hip exercises I pulled off the internet. From all of these I would get some relief that would last a day or so and the pain would return.

With your program, I am now hiking (4-7 miles) biking (up to 15 miles) and walking (typically 3-5 miles). Sometimes I overdo it, and I have some discomfort for about 24 hours, but it quickly dissipates.

I really believe the E3 Rehab team has the right mix of exercises. So I wanted to thank you for offering this program.

Tony’s approach to both physical therapy and training have given me new enthusiasm for my body and what it can do. I came to Tony with what felt like a disabling hip injury caused by over-training. Tony was very sensitive to my distress and worked patiently with me to identify my injury and rehabilitate myself.

He also helped motivate me to reassess my training goals. With Tony’s coaching, I have set personal records in all of my Olympic Lifts and have worked my way up to squat and deadlift weights that I haven’t moved in years.

When I was told that I needed knee surgery and that rehab was not gonna do any favors, I saw my fitness life going down the drain. And after trial and error and no improvement I decided to look for the best people to help me, and that’s when I found Dr. Marc Surdyka and E3 Rehab. It took time, but with enough patience, and the right man to put me in the right direction was more than enough to put me back on the squat rack with no pain and no surgery. The best thing was that it was all online, something that I thought impossible in the past.

When I started with Tony I had been struggling with chronic leg pain and injuries for 5 years, and as a lifelong runner, I was deep in a funk.

I had been in and out of physical therapy, but my pain always returned. Tony got me back on my feet permanently both through extensive strength and agility training, and by helping me recognize my body’s limits — when to stop, and more importantly when to push harder.

Thanks to Tony, my leg hasn’t gotten in the way of my passion in over a year. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I can’t praise Chris highly enough. I’d struggled for months with hamstring tendinopathy. Initially it made running impossible, which was tough, as I’d been an avid runner for four decades. As the condition worsened, it made even sitting in my office chair, or driving my car, a painful experience. I had multiple sessions over several months with a very good local physical therapist, with little progress. I’ll admit I was skeptical that a video consultation would produce better results. I was wrong. Chris listened carefully; asked thoughtful questions; provided a detailed description of my condition and the likely timeline for recovery; and prescribed a progressive loading regimen—accompanied by helpful videos—that produced immediate and lasting improvement. I resumed running two months ago. So far, so good. If I experience another running-related injury (which at my age is inevitable), I’d enlist Chris’s services again in a heartbeat.
